Item reviews: Kit, Molly & Samantha Accessories

Hi,

I finally got my items today. I was very pleased with most of the items.

Here is my review of them:

Kit's table and chairs:
Very good quality and very impressive. The design is beautiful and I love the green color too. This set looks much better in person than in the web site and catalog. My AG doll was able to sit on the chairs with no problems at all.

Molly's Radio:
One of my favorite items. It is so realistic and cute. I really loved it except that I am going to have to exchange it for a new one. The knob on the right was broken. My husband loved the item. He is really into old time radio stuff. You can actually hear old shows when you turn on Molly's radio. Pretty neat.

Kit's Photography Set:
Now I see why a couple other ladies mentioned that the camera was very fragile. It's kind of difficult to open and close. It feels like it might break at any moment. Definitely not for kids. Nevertheless, the camera itself and the case are very cute. The kodak film box is adorable and so is the photo album. I actually liked those more than the camera. The set comes with some small photographs (stickers) that you can put in the album.

Kit's nighttime necessities:
The phone and lamp are cute but the quality could have been better. The lamp actually lights up, but the knob to turn it on has to be wiggled a little bit so that it works.

Kit's typewriter set:
This is my favorite item. The typewriter looks so real and very classy. Great quality. It makes very cute typing noises too. It comes with some paper, eraser, photograph and a cute box to store everything (except the typewriter).

Samantha's Stereoscope:
This was the only disappointing item. I expected to be able to see through the stereoscope (3-D pictures) and I wasn't able to. It is too small to look through and get the 3-D effect. This item also includes some old pictures that you set on the stereoscope. I am going to return this item and try to concentrate on Kit's items only.

Wow, this is great help! I have been debating on different items to start with for our new Kit that is arriving on Christmas and my dd is pretty young, so I want to start with things she can play with, like the table maybe for "tea party" and things of that nature! Does anyone have any opinions on the school desks? Like Sam's Mollys or Kits? And What about Kit's bed? Thanks!

Thanks for the review. May I add that I ordered for a friend Kit's nighttime table and that too is excellent quality. I could see displaying it on its own without anything else cuz it is just beautiful!
